Default weird noise from my rear

So whenever i let my car cost it makes a wierd noise as it comes to a stop. it sounds like streched dry rubber band if that makes sense. I have no clue what the noise is. i lifted the car up and turned the wheel using my hand and no noise. Any ideas guys. i also have another noise from the rear passenger side wheel whenever i turn the steering wheel to the left and i am moving. could that be a wheel bearing? if i am driving straight it doesnt make the noise at all, but as soon as i turn the steering to the left a little it starts doing it.
Thanks for the help in advance

Except for the "kinda like a rubber band" part, you describe classic symptoms for a worn CV joint. When my CV joint went bad it made a "clicking sound" that got louder with increased steering angle.

An easy test and fix is to swap half-shafts right to left. If the noise goes away, that was the initial problem. If it does not, it's something else. If the problem is resolved, just drive with the swapped half-shafts until they start making noise again.

Since you're running Tein coilovers, I assume that you have lowered the car. That can contribute to premature CV joint wear.

Hey Josh...just so the original poster doesn't get confused, the half shafts are not equal length. The passenger side is longer than the driver side. They unfortunately aren't interchangeable.

Been there...done that...actually was able to get the passenger side half-shaft on the driver side after 2hrs of forcing. But then the driver side half-shaft would not make it all the way through the hub to get the hub nut on.

Then it dawned on me. DOH!!

Yep, thanks for the clarification. It's been a while since I replaced my half shafts. What I meant to say is to switch the CV joints from right to left.
