Exclamation WEIRD REQUEST - Pic of your gas cap

Hey guys,

I have a super odd request.
Could someone take a pic of their gas cap unscrewed?
I think I'm missing something.
Went to fill up and right before the gas nozzle could shut itself, some fuel spilled out onto the body. Very weird.

I'm a new S2K owner so I have no clue what's up with this. And I have no S2K friends to ask....except you fine folks

Thanks

Its pretty normal behavior in my experience. Some pumps you need to have the pump partially out or else it will kick off every second, others overfill.

I try to predict how much gas I'll need to fill up, based on trip meter mileage, which I always zero out at every fill up. When it gets to about the last predicted gallon, I turn off the the autopilot handle and manually hold it at a very slow rate, to avoid spillover onto my paint. Never add more after the first click.

You can get quite good at predicting how much it will take to fill up, based on miles traveled and how hard you drove. You could always pump slow for the last two gallons until you can more accurate at predicting.
