Post weird rubbing noise

First of all, this is my first post and I've been doing alot of reading on this site. You guys have helped me out with a top replacement and a radio code error I was getting after disconnecting the battery. So thanks for that!

But I have a problem or a symptom for now that I don't know what it is. It happens everytime I start the car, hot or cold. After I start the car and begin to move forward or reverse, I get this rubbing sound/feel for about 2 seconds or 4 feet of movement. It doesn't matter if I'm going straight, left or right. It also doesn't matter if I had the E-brake engaged or not. And it never happens at after coming to a stop at light or something; it only happens when I start it and pull away. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I read some posts about CV joints, rear bearings, and hubs, but I would think those symptoms would happen all the time, not just after I start it up.

There is another symptom that may be related, but I'm not sure. When I turn the ignition off, I get this squeal noise from under the hood that lasts for about a second as the engine comes to a rest. Similar to the squeal of a noisy drive belt, just doesn't last as long.

Well, thanks for reading this long post, hopefully its descriptive enough and hopefully you guys can help out! I'm likin this site already and I love this car!

ok, I have one thing to add that I noticed today. I must have turned the engine on and off about 20 times in 5 minutes. I noticed that this rubbing noise/feel happens just as the clutch is being engaged (that's when I'm lifting my foot off the clutch, right?) But I never feel it after that? Weird! Any ideas, anyone?

Not sure this belongs here but I wonder if this is the little "nipple" that is created after much wear/usage on the tip of the shaft from the clutch slave to the throwout bearing arm. I pulled mine apart last year after noticing some "stickiness" to the clutch movement. I tried filing down the nipple which seemed to help some but I may not have gotten it all.

Not hard to do, it's all external to the bell housing. A couple of bolts, IIRC...
