Default Wet Carpet

hey, i did a search on wet carpet under the floormats and found about the A/C leaking in the passenger footwell. my problem is that its wet under BOTH driver and passenger mats. could this be the same problem?

does anyone else have wet carpet under both mats? we have had TONS of rain here in NC recently (past two friggin months actually) and originally thought this was the culprit.

opinions opinions???

thanks!

I think it would be very hard for water from the AC to make it to the drivers side.. probably something else.

not the answer i was looking for

sh*t...i guess ill have to look around... is it possible to have some sort of leak from the underbody of the car?

question...where does the water go that goes down the back of the convertable top? i mean, i know leaves and stuff sometimes work their way under there. could they clog any drain holes and cause this to work its way into the cabin?

Yes,
I had this problem at about 15K miles. Turned out to be a kinked air condition drain hose. This was fixed under warranty.

There is a TSB for this, I belive it happens when you put the A/C on full blast or something to that nature. Take it to the dealer and have them fix it. Do a search for the problem and you will find a ton of posts on it.
