What to do with a slashed soft top?

isolate the framework from the chassis with rubber, cover it with some cheap material, and hook up a 3 stage electric fence system to it. popcorn, beer, comfy chair, sit back and watch the thieves get what they deserve

Get Gorilla Tape. That stuff sticks so much that it feels like it's trying to pull the skin off your fingertips when you're trying to pull a strip off the roll.

Sorry to hear about your top, mine got slashed two weeks ago.
I called the dealership and they wanted $1205 for just the soft top cloth and another $1100 for the install.
After some looking around I got a new OEM soft top cloth, frame rivets and the rain rail rivet kit at www.hondapartscheap.com located in CA for $922!
(OEM cloth was $768) ( Rain Rail Rivet service kit was around $43) ( misc rivets for frame were about $21) ( shipping was $90 )
I used the Gorilla Tape on the inside in case we get rain... holding pretty good! ( temp between 80-95 deg ) if in the sun for long periods of time I can see how it might fail though.
I should have everything including the KTC trim tool set by Friday
& I'm doing the teardown/install myself this weekend.
I also changed my insurance to a low deductible in case it ever happens again
