I have no idea what is the best you can use.

Personally I suggest using the cheapest that works. This is an especially good idea if, by using a cheaper fluid, you can afford to swap it more often.

The spec calls for 90w oil, but many people (including me) have used 75w-90 for years without issues. I usually use 75w-90 Mobil 1 synthetic.

If it says 90w, GL5, hypoid gear oil -- then it meets the OEM specs.

I recommend that you use LE 607 (buy a quart from Rick's or Hardtopguy) if you live in a moderate to hot climate. Use AMSOIL SVT 75W110 if you live in a cold climate and drive your car in the winter. That's the best protection advice I can offer at this time.

How can people say they "read" the sticky and not understand how to change this stuff. It's pretty damn obvious if you actually "read" like you said. Everything you need to know is in there, just take the time to read it.

The other day someone put LE607 in their tranny even though they "read" the oil journals.
