I've done a search, but to no avail.

I want the loudest intake I can get, and then I will pair that with an exhaust that is barely louder than stock. I want the F1 car thrills without sounding Rice, and IMHO the louder exhausts are going to get me confused with Civic's, etc. I don't care for the car to be all that loud to passers-by, I just want it to sound great in the car.

So anyway, what is the loudest intake, and what would be a throaty, but barely louder than stock exhaust.

For the exhaust, I may just replace the stock muffler w/ a Magnaflow.

Loudest intake I've heard are the hot air / short intakes ... no HP gains, but they're loud. I just replaced mine with a AEM CAI and was surprised with how much quieter and with the improved performance of CAI.

My suggestion is to go with a CAI and an exhaust that gives you the sound you're looking for.

I built my own short ram intake and traid a variety of filter to get the sound right. But the above posts are correct get a cold air intake if you want anything beyond the sound.

Magnaflows will be very LOUD. With a CAI and an exhaust you will hear noise from in front and behind. Do you want performance or noise?

Go with the PRM.

When the car is moving, the PRM gets plenty of cold air (who needs cold air when the car is stopped, or moving slowly?)

The PRM intake (tubing) is less than half the length of most other CAIs.

The PRM intake has only one wide-angle bend, whereas most CAIs have at least two 90 degree bends.

The PRM has a reuseable free-flowing paper air filter with the same surface area as the OEM air filter.

The PRM intake has a large velocity stack, which increases the intake air speed (and will work like a megaphone for your purposes!).

The PRM is a GREAT looking intake, and is much easier to install and service than most other CAIs.

EDIT: I almost forgot the most important thing: NO HYDROLOCK!!!

Did I make a sale?

-Pete

like a coffee maker

The PRM is actually quieter than a CAI. A lot of people choose the PRM for its quieter sound and easy install. If you want a loud sound go with a CAI.

not even worth your time, that muffler is pretty loud. I would suggest you going with a full exhaust system such as the Fujitsubo, it is a tad louder than stock. Full SS piping and it has a pretty reasonable size exhaust tip. Nothing rice
