its like a scraping/ringing noise, sounds like its coming from the driver front wheel.

noise only appears when the wheel is spinning, gets louder as the wheel spins faster.

the noise isnt always present, sometimes it goes away.

Yes sounds like brake wear indicator. Low pads.

With any rotational noise, ALL S2000s should start with rear axle nut re-torque.
