Default Continuous Scraping (?) Noise from Rear Wheel

Hey everyone, I am having a problem with my new to me s2000 that I need some help diagnosing.

Over the past couple of days, my S has developed a rather loud scraping/moaning noise (not really a grinding noise) coming from the rear right wheel. It doesn't occur when I start driving, but usually develops after driving a mile or so. The sound doesn't go away when I step on the brakes and it doesn't seem to be dependent on wheel speed. When I slow down, it sounds about the same as when I'm at speed. It only goes away when I come to a complete stop, but starts back up again once I start moving again. There is also no noticeable vibration that accompanies the noise.

It is not the choppy/humming noise that is typically associated with a failing wheel bearing (again, it is a much louder noise), kinda sounds like an older school bus coming to a stop. I took the wheel off this afternoon and didn't see anything out of the ordinary (dust cover is not rubbing, brake pads still have meat, rotors look good). I couldn't get the caliper off because all of my tools are in my garage across town.

I'm leaning towards stuck/seized caliper or seized caliper pin, but I just want confirmation (or other ideas) before I dig in tomorrow. Hope I provided enough details, let me know if any more info can help.

Thanks in advance for your input

My wheel bearing that failed made more of a grinding moan that you described. Does it stop above a certain speed? Is it a constant noise or is it revolving noise?

sounds like a wheel bearing issue caused by a lose axle nut

Possible dust shield rubbing on the brake rotor
