What is your favorite work light?
I use several different lights for different occasions. Long led rechargeable blue point tube with padded hooks on both ends. Several different size led rechargeable coast brand flaslights. Some brand of led rechargeable flood spot light and a couple corded lights similar to the bounce lights. I like light. My home garage is like a sun tan booth.

I use my Milwaukee M12/M18 light. I don't work on engines day in and day out so I don't need a corded light. I'm a big fan of high CRI lights, especially when working with wiring and the Milwaukee reveal colors accurately. Nothing worse than trying to distinguish blue and purple wires using cheapo LEDs.
Thanks!
I'm invested too - only in Makita stuff. Once you get invested it makes no sense to go in a different direction. Batteries are all interchangeable on the Makita cordless stuff. I picked up a Makita DML 806 LED light. We'll see how it holds up. It seems pretty rugged but only time will tell. I don't give it real heavy use. Like many of you my need for lots of light is off the charts these days. I also use a headlamp.
Yes, all M12 tools will work with M12 batteries. All M18 tools will work with M18 batteries. Really good system they have going on, with the impact gun being one of my favorite. The sucker will remove axle nuts and J-series crank bolts.
The same is true of Makita - and all the makers basically. You end up with several batteries (not cheap), one charger, and a variety of cordless tools as you wish. I have a cordless drill, an impact wrench, and now this light. I'm happy with the system. It serves my needs. I'm 65. I'm pretty sure these tools will last "a lifetime." Interesting how your perspective changes when you suddenly realize - OMG, in 15 years I'm 80.
