What fluid did they put in the diff?

@Saki GT It is the stock AP2 Exhaust

@dammitjim No idea. about the diff fluid. It doesn't seem to be transmission related noise though, because the pitch doesn't change with speed or gearing.

I turn the wheel, brake, clutch change gear, throttle position, nothing changes it, except it seems like it sputters a little when i got over short bumps in the road.
Does it do it when you're at a stop with the car running? Same thing at a stop with the car in key position 2 but not running?

Haven't been stopped yet while the problem is going on. It's really random when it comes and goes. I'll try that next.

Ha ha ha! If it's a sticker... I'll run out and check my car on my break in a minute.

I called the dealer and I am going to drop my car off tomorrow morning. The bent brake dust shroud and wheel speed sensor sounds like a pretty likely culprit.

Well the sticker did it! Pulled it off and the hissing went away.

Now I just have to figure out what is wrong with the VSA system. I got it to go again today and it was the brake light and the two VSA lights. We'll see what they say. I'm kind of betting on a faulty sensor.

What was the cause of the VSA trouble?
