I just did my pass ride rear wheel bearing...

And now the noise is back!! it was gone..its only been 1000kms since I had it fixed..any ideas..shoudl I take it back to the shop..is it there fault?

The noise is failry quiet now but from what I remember its gets louder as the bearing gets worse..


any input is appreciated

NEW INFO: I got it tightened and it went away..and now again like 700kms later its back!! why woul dit come loose again!?!

 

Is the axle nut tighten to 220foot pounds?
If not it will get worse again..

Did you make the small indention to basically lock the nut in?

 

not sure I had a shop do it..I took ti back to them to have them tighten it to 220 because it was loose again...so tightened to 220...and now is back a lil while later!

 

Make sure the nut is staked.

 

the nut is obviously turning back out. take it to another shop
