Pilot bush is pressed in from ClutchMaster - no removable bearing.

All parts that look like rust is high temp grease.

Problem will be amplified with a pilot bushing instead of a bearing. Centering becomes even more critical. Why no bearing?

From this photo, it looks like thread damage has been done to that adapter plate.. Maybe, indicates a "forced-in" issue. Definite sign of mis-alignment?

Just CMs design which didn't have this in the Aluminium iteration. The steel one was only just released last month and I had purchased months prior.

Good catch but that was an early dry run which didn't quite like up. Not a current issue as far as I'm aware.

You're using an Exedy disc?

A big risk, my friend. I thought you said OEM.

Any springs popped out of the disc yet?

That high temp grease...its not copper anti-seize is it? You can't successfully use that for sliding parts. It will destroy them over time.

Lucas X-Tra HD is a high temp polyurea. There are also other synthetic polyurea greases on the market available until you get your Honda branded stuff.

Yes, should/must be good quality, high-temp stuff. Should not be spinning and spitting out. Contaminating the disc area.

K series cars come with a bushing. I'm guessing that's why CM mimicked that design at first.

I’m guessing the K-motor cannot use an oem S2000 FW?

I'm not sure if the bolt pattern is different. But the K requires an adapter plate for the F series trans.

So...custom flywheel to take up that space is required.

Exedy disc though....

Check out the OP's photo below...
Spring might be rubbing on something. Photo is of the trans side, it seems.

Wonder what the pressure plate looks like..
any evidence of rubbing, OP?
