Default whizzing noise when I down shift

Hey guys, I recently bought an s2000. When I down shift or let off accelerating at a higher rpm, I hear this whirling/buzzing noise. I can't tell where it's coming from. Does anyone know what this might be? My only guess, would be a throw-out bearing.

iono, sounds like it might be the infamous clutch buzz to me. do you know if you have an aftermarket clutch in it or not? early model AP1s w/ OEM clutches supposedly have clutch buzz too.

Yup, that's clutch buzz. I have the same noise on my 2001.

In that year, the clutch was noisy when decelerating... It's nothing to worry about.
