Clicking noise whenever you Depress clutch????
HEy guys whenever i push down my clutch from having my foot off of it it makes a single clicking noise and i can feel it just kinda click. I have also had a problem where When i shift from like 8500 or 9000 it takes soem tiem for my rpms to go down. IT's liek they hang high and then dropps more slowly than normal. doesn anyone have any incite as to what is goign on? please let me know! Thanks! I could use some Help before monday, because i want to take my car in then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks a ton!!!!!

I'm guessing here:
The clutch click could be the plunger going past a larger than normal ridge in the master cylinder. If the clutch works OK, not to worry. Mine has that too since the beginning (2.5 years ago). It could also be the clutch throw-out bearing. Some have reported failures in this due mostly to the factory not lubing the spindle on which it rides. Most get away with it. Some don't.
As for the high rpm "hanging" and slow return, it could be a binding throttle cable or a sticky "butterfly" in the throttle body. A bit of lubing in both areas may resolve the issue. What's the slack like in your throttle cable at the throttle body? Also, check to make sure your floor carpet isn't obstructing the gas pedal travel.

xviper, youre kickin ass tonight! Thanks bro. I'm def gonna check the throttle cable! And i think i'm gogin to take the car to the shop to see about the clutch! Thanks alot bro! i owe you!
