Not making an observation, just a question....I'd like to supercharge one day and I'm just planning ahead.
Do you know a dealership in the Tri-State area that will do the install???

Back to your original question, Rev, I've had zero issues with the Comptech SC and am 100% satisfied with my decision to go w/'em. Comptech costs a bit more, but the extra dollars I spent for proven reliability make me sleep better at night.

Comptech uses Vortech/Paxton parts. When I spoke w/ superchargersonline, they said the Vortech kit was much better engineered...better choice of blower, aftercooler, electronics, etc.. They sell both, and would prob. make higher margins on the Comptech, too.

Wow!! Most of you guys are lucky especially if you can get your dealerships to install "Performance parts" and still honor your warranty. Here in California "homie don't play that." I don't know of any dealership that will install performance parts and still honor warranties (maybe with the exception of Niello in Sactown because they are an authorized COMPTECH distributor).

I asked the dealership here in Ithaca NY if they would do it a few months back and with out hesitation they said NO. I later found out exactly how incompetent the dealer is down here. Id be surprised if they new what a supercharger was. I would have had better luck doing it myself!

Okay, I was at the Honda dealer yesterday and got into a conversation with a women who worked there (somewhat high up I believe) and she also was an S2K enthusiast. I mentioned Supercharging and her relply was that yes you can supercharge the S2k, I asked about my warrentee and she said "As long as Honda does the work, you're warrentee is covered, no change." She didnt mention any specific supercharger, all she said was that you have to bring the parts to them and have them install it to maintain you're warrentee. Next time I'll ask if it has to be a specific kind. If it doesnt, Ill probably go with Vortech because it seems like people are saying that they are getting a little better performance out of it and that its slightly cheaper. Just thought I'd share with you all. If you already knew this, disregard.

I had a Vortech s/c installed at a local Honda dealer. They said they will still honour my warranty.I still have a 8 more months left.I suspect that they would forget they told me that if I blow the motor
