Default Will a AP2 Diff fit in a AP1

I was wondering if the ap2 diff bolts right on to the ap1. I threw out my diff last week and was wondering if it would fit. I found a 06 diff for a decent price and was wondering if it would bolt right on.

The input flanges take differant size bolts. AP1 is 8mm and AP2 is 10mm. So you will need to have that flange swapped.

I have an 06 diff in my 02 car. I swapped the flange on the transmission and used the AP2 prop shaft. It is easier to swap the transmission flange then thr diff flange. The diff flange need to be done by someone that knows what they are doing as to not mess up the gear pre-load and the trans does not.
