Yes it will fit but, you have to change the flange for the drive shaft. The flange bolts are small on AP1 cars and large on AP2 cars. As for being stronger....I have looked at both and there is a change or two but, can't say for sure if it is better

This question has been answered many times. Search is your friend, use it.

I'm sorry to say I alittle sick of people asking a question and some one saying search is your friend. It happens on every forum people would rather type a smart !!! comment rather then take a second longer to help. Search is very useful just not on s2ki.com our search function on here sucks there is no way to choose a specific category and it will throw up anything from any date. I can understand it more if are search function was helpful but you might as well pick random page numbers to scan through. If you go to any other car forum 9 bimmerforum.com rx7club.com supraforums.com you can find what your looking for here it's just a shot in the dark. Sorry for the little rant

Drop it guys.

The fact is the search function ain't great but if you take the time to learn how to use it you can find anything you want. I expect a statement like "+AP1 +AP2 +diff" would do wonders.

And it does kinda get tiring seeing the same questions over and over again, and that's probably half the reason the search results are so stuffed.

And the thing I really hate is when people say "I can't be bothered searching. So I'll just let everyone else do the work for me".

And now that I've had my say let's not let this get off topic.

Only problem is, changing drive flanges will disturb the wear pattern. The idea is to put the nut on with the same torque it came off with.
