Default Will this setup work??

I've heard of people having problems with certain parts fitting in the engine bay and conflicting with other parts. My planned setup is HKS exhaust(on order), an injen CAI intak, Mugen/comptech/spoon headers, and a digrappa X-brace. Will any of these parts interfere with any others??? Also, does anyone know if there will be any conflicts if I install a comptech SC on top of this, providing of course i remove the CAI? Thnx !!

I've read all the debates, so don't direct me to another link=) If i purchase a spoon header, will it affect the reliability of my engine, or will any header affect the reliability of an engine. My local mechanic said he deals with leaky gaskets all the time, is this something i should expect, and if so, is it a serious problem?? Thnx

Hey Brandon, sorry, I'm not sure on the setup. Everything sounds good though. One thing: where did you order your HKS exhaust and how much? Thanks, sorry I couldn't help. Brandon

Brandons,

I have the Mugen Header, Mugen Exhaust, Digrappa Brace, and AEM Cold Air Intake. No problems whatsoever. The only issues that you might have with your requested setup is with something that is not listed in your specs... an upper strut tower brace. Many people have issues with the cold air intakes fitting with certain front strut tower braces.

Your setup will be fine... but make sure you ask the same question before you buy an upper strut tower bar!

Regarding reliability of the motor... everything will be fine. Forced induction and electronic gizmos (different ECU's or V-AFC's) are when you start needing to worry about reliability. If you happen to get a leaky header gasket, it takes about 15 minutes to replace. I think it is a 12mm and 11 nuts.... oh and a new gasket. But I don't think you will have to worry about it for 100,000 miles or so. : )

God I should read your post all the way through...

Comptech SC will not interfere with any of your mentioned parts... except your CAI that you knew about.
