mugen header install
Is this something that can be done at home or does it require a tech?
I heard that it requires removing some of the engine mounting bolts??
I looked for posts and didn't see anything.

It is not that difficult. The things that are important is 1) to get the car high.. you will remove the header from underneath and probably need more than 15 inches clearance. 2) have a second jack/stand to prop the engine so that you can loosen the right mount to get the headers by. It actually can be done in an hour.
Chris is dead on about this one. It's quite doable...but you have to have the car up quite high. We didn't loosen the motor mount and it slipped right out and back in.
The job was surpisingly easy and it could be done in an hour now that we have done it once. I did break the bracket down by the cat when I was taking the old one off. Gotta get that replaced...it sometimes rattles, which is annoying.
Pretty simple job tho....
<and get the Mugen for low-mid range torque>

thanks...that is what I was thinking...but how about the spoon? doesn't it have low mid torque as well...and super huge crazy top end????
I know too bad there isn't one that is a hybrid of mugen and spoon.....right??
