Wipers won't stop!
My wipers won't stop. They are constantly on. Not sure if I have a short somewhere, or if the relay is bad, or if the motor is bad. I inspected the relay and it seems fine. The fuse is not blowing. Any ideas?
The wipers constantly run. I can change the speed of the wipers, but they neever shut off.

Picturing this makes me laugh.
Its as bad as the friend who was having a throttle problem whose idle was 3500 RPM in his sentra (or was it a civic?... I dont recall... now days, if it were a toyota, he could write it off as the acceleration problem). Every stop light he hit, people would just stare at him, or rev back thinking he was trying to race them (launching at that RPM).
He would just point at his car and do the "I have no idea" shrug.
I say find the fuse, pull it, and take it in.
Or disconnect one of the wires from the wiper motor, then take it in.

Yea I had a bunch of problems this weekend. My fuse kept blowing (wiper motor/soft top/windows all run off the same fuse). I narrowed it down to the wiper motor. I got it to start running again, but it would constantly run. Then, all of the sudden, I heard/could feel a grinding noise in the wiper motor, and then it was dead. I have a replacement motor on the way, and I'm hoping that this is all it was.
