Won't Start

Default Won't Start

Sup guys... so i just got back in town about 2 weeks ago. my car sat in the garage for about 2-3 weeks when i got back the car started fine no problems.. It started getting really cold and the car began having crank problems... well it would take like 2 tries to start the car some times ... now it wont crank at all... i turn the key radio works lights work i hear the fuel pump energizing but it just wont crank. Sounds like its trying to but just wont turn over.... i refilled the tank so there is new gas in there... any ideas... this happen to anyone... I am running full inline pro turbo kit Hg, and exhaust as well not that it rlly matters but just to give an idea of what the car has.... I guess im going to check the spark plugs tmrw i havent done that but they are brand new spark plugs and fuel pump which is a bitch but just wondering if you guys had any ideas.... Thanks guys!

Im thinking your battery may be dead. It may be putting enough volts out to prime the fuel pump and run the radio and lights but not enough AMPS to crank over the engine. The starter accounts for the biggest load on a battery so thats what I would point my finger at. You can take it to autozone and have the battery load tested to confirm this.

I think the battery is dead too. The same problem happen with me when I have a Nissan S14. Just change the battery and it'll work. If you want to make sure, jump the cable first then if few days later samething happen then change the battery.

yup! battery dead. Mine did the same thing last month! Wasnt driven for 2.5 weeks before my battery died.

well i did have a dead battery... so i got a new one but car still wont start.... its real cold now and it wasnt cold til about last week when i had this problem so im starting to think it has to do with the cold start setting that the tuner maybe didnt set... GRRRR i dont know im calling tmrw! thanks for the help guys!
