I have looked through every possible thread available and I have still had no luck..I bought a 2003 car and using if for racing and was driving grand i stripped the interior out..i then went to put it back together and now it wont start...I have gone through everything and have found that the green key light which i think is the immobiliser is not coming on when i put the key in and i cant hear the fuel pump going now i have downloaded the workshop manual and tried to find a fault or a broken wire but have had no joy at all...I also got a bought a second ecu with igntion and key coded to that ecu hopin that the ecu might have gone but still no green light just wondering if anyone on here can help me because im knew to car electrics

 

you prolly undid a specific wire somewhere, all that can be done is "trouble shooting" go step by step untill you can eliminate things. If it worked before you must have unplugged/un hooked something. does the engine turn over, just wont fire? check the fuel pump fuse if you dont here it, you should atleast here it prime upon inserting the key, that is if everything is hooked up. Make sure to check the "Obvious" things first, it might just be a simple mistake !

 

i did the trouble shooting checking every earth fuse connection on the car and everything is grand...yeah the car will turn over just wont fire and im going by posts i have gone through for the last few months is pointing to immobiliser because the green light isnt flashing and cant here the fuel pump priming just hopin someone might have had same problem cause im stuck

 

its very possible i just dont understand why it would work and then not work. you sure you have the right ECU/key combo and you didnt confuse the two ?
