X-brace?

i receiced mine today and i would like to instal it but i can't tell, is there a front and back or does it not matter because it is the same size on both sides? i already know which side is up and down. thanks

You will be able to tell right away when you line up the holes. If they line up, it's right. If they don't line up, flip it.
