im trying to install the muz whiteline x brace and the holes arent lining up. i jacked it up evenly and it still wont line up. the right rear and the front left holes wont line up, but the other 2 do.
what should i do?

You need to loosen the bolts on the bracket that the X-brace bolts into. This allows the "holes" to shift a bit and makes for lining them up easier. Once you get the X-brace bolts installed hand tight, then torque down the bracket bolts you loosened before torquing down the X-brace bolts.

 

thanks! you rock. i will try this again tomorrow morning, im done for today. my muscles haave been cramping up bc of the small sapce underneath my car has me in all sorts of weird positions.

yeah my comptech didnt line up either - took a while but it got there in the end!

I was beginning to think it wasnt compatible with my 04.

btw...is it true that both the spoon and comptech rear lower tie bars dont fit the 04???

I went to the comptech website and they only list it for an 00-03, and I nearly bought a spoon bar from someone until they told me they are selling because it didnt fit their 04.
