Geez, guys. He did post this at 10 PM my time. I do work nights sometimes, ya know. I try to stay off the work computer after 10. Just got home.

Anyway, as you have discovered, there are many, many, many extremely knowledgeable people on this board and some of the best ones have shown up on this thread to give you the answer you sought.

And if I don't answer in the next week or so, I'm on vacation. I do get those once in a while.

You can see/hear the loose springs on a clutch in the video on my webpage here:

Hehe, yeah. The West Coast meet wasn't really my official vacation. I called in some IOUs to do that one.

Crazy, all you have to do is post to summon Xviper? To think of all the time I've wasted chanting, and all the money on incense.

That's why I don't take my car to dealers. In general, they're incompetent. Some of them can pull off an oil change OK, but 50% or more can't even manage that.

WHat are the odds of me taking in the car to the dealer (no warranty) and demanding that they fix it hahahaha. Is it some sort of recall deal or something? I think honda should pay for this, its ridiculous, nobody told me about clutch buz and this is a prime year for the car to do it, its a 00'. Im not very happy, and considering the shop manager at gunn honda didnt have a ass clue of what it was infurates me.

incompetance

I think you should sack up and buy a new clutch if you don't like the noise.

The service manager wasn't the only one without a clue, we had to clue you in as well.

The Manager was trying to squeeze money out of you to diagnose a problem that he has known about for probably 3-4 years
