Hi Khau.

Thanks for asking about Josie. I had not heard anything about her foot recently so I texted her and asked her about her foot. She saw the doctor a few weeks ago and sees him again in two months.

She sent me a picture of her foot and it is almost all healed now. It certainly looks a lot better than it did a while ago! It is almost 7 months now since the surgery.

We text each other almost daily and she loves sending me all kinds of pictures.

Josie is very busy with her nursing school classes at Mt.Carmel.

My first 3 cars were VW's, in total we've had 9 VW's and 4 Audi's. Never again. I sold my 78 Scirocco over the summer which I'd owned since 2010. VW can pound sand.
Sorry to hear of that experience Sam , not a good start to our 2024 VW GTi experience though we love the car. It is my son's car , and as he drives to work the SOS system goes bonkers beeping and flashing faults on the dash and it continually dials roadside assistance over and over again , calling and hanging up calling and hanging up, for like 15 minutes straight as you drive. It is incredibly distracting for my son. The service advisor told me they have tons of complaints about this and have fixed the issue, but they would not fix my car as there as no fault code displayed on the day I took it in. They are getting it back and fixing it no matter what they say, no person should drive a car like this.

Once upon a time you could get mad at a service person using a loud determined angry voice and not have the cops get called.

Joey, there is a reason that I like Mercedes. Yes, they are expensive and yes, so is the service.
The difference is they kiss my *** to keep me happy and calm.

Jerry you are a customer worth keeping, any dealership that loses your business would not be good.

I am the calmest person in the northern hemisphere, and a pretty simple person, I just don't like to be screwed around and lied to. I went home last night and shot off a long email to the service manager. In 42 years of owning vehicles this only happened once or twice. The manager called me today and apologized for the way everything was handled, he admitted that his service advisors screwed up. He asked me to bring the car back in on Monday and they would give me a loaner for the day and he guaranteed me that it would be fixed. It was a fruitful discussion. I just want the car fixed.

Glad that they got back to you and apologized. I had issues with Toyota and I unanonymously slammed them in a survey and the next time I went there the service advisor said to me “well I guess we won’t be sending you any more surveys”. I have come to realize that to be blunt some business’ just don’t give a f#*k and they just look at how things affect them, so as a consumer just drop them and move on to another business.

Joey, ever watch a pressure cooker work.
It doesn't look like they are doing anything but in reality they are building tremendous internal pressure.
That's a good model of me. Over the years I've gotten better at keeping bad dark jerry in his box. Nobody ever wants to meet dark jerry, especially me.

Those are the dangerous ones.. I'm probably like that to some extent. I've probably only lost my composure a couple times in my lifetime. I've always said that on my last day of work I will likely punch someone out, and definitely call out a few people who irritated me over the years, but until then I have to behave myself.
