2009 Stanley Cup Thread
I'm not holding out much hope for the Ducks in this series. They are great when they're on the attack, but they are prone to streaks of laziness and turnovers in their own zone. So far they've been bailed out by their goal tending. I think that relying on that will eventually bite them.
I hope I'm wrong.
GO DUCKS!!

GO DUCKS!!
It takes 4 to seal the deal, my dear.
What a game. The Caps are a fast bunch of guys, but Owhinekin is still a punk. His dive last night showed me a lot about what kind of player he is. He's talented, no doubt, but he's a piece of garbage. And Fleury should have stopped at least 2 of his goals. He was weak late in the game last night. If he doesn't pick it up, the Pens might be the ones golfing.
And since when is it tripping when the defenseman dives for and touches the puck first???? Bull pucky!
But...we've been down before and, until the handshake, I never give up. Two fast-paced, one goal games don't bother me too much. This could swing quick, fast and in a hurry. Especially if Fleury tightens it up and Malkin finds the net.
It's great hockey to watch though. People in Cleveland would've enjoyed last night's game!

Which reminds me - we are gonna have to find the games in Cape May on Fri and Sat (if they play Sat - HAHA). I don't know the cable stations there, unless it's on NBC again.

And they better be playing Saturday or I might be a little tough to be around at dinner!

HOW BOUT THOSE CAPS!!!!
That save by Varlamov with his stick will go down in hockey history. Amazing!!
