You know, it maybe another 30 years before the Dodgers get into another Series. Such a poor offensive and bullpen showing.

Is it over? Dang, I never saw a single second of it. Bill, sounds like you enjoyed it. What's so weird is it was never even mentioned on the local news we watch every day. Sorry if that is hard to understand but then then never mention what Lewis just did in F1 either.

Well, this now sets up Boston fans to wish for that rarest of all events. The perfect alignment of four sports championships. Up next are the Patriots. And now I really have to delve into the Celtics as well.
I've posted this before, Bill, but it now justifies an update. If you wish to look at how the pro sports community supports their fan base, the figures for Boston are, frankly, astounding. As follows: (Using SMSA population for the fan base figure)

New York
has 51 titles for 18.8 million people = 2.78 titles per million

Los Angeles
has 30 titles for 11.8 million people = 2.54 titles per million

Chicago
has 25 titles for 9.5 million people = 2.63 titles per million

Boston
now has 37 titles for 4.5 million people = 8.22 titles per million
