2018 Baseball Play-offs
Posting videos of back to back to back Astros home runs against Eovaldi during the regular season really worked out well for Hooooston.

There were several comments made by the announcers during the last two Red Sox-Astros games about the Red Sox catcher using alternative signs even when there were no Astros on second base. Turns out there was evidence of an Astros spy stealing signals.

They are pitching Porcello too much and Kimbrel sucks. Very lucky to win tonight thanks to Benetindo.
Great fielding and great win, considering the "quality" of the Red Sox pitching. My take on it is that the pitchers had two zones they could throw to; outside the zone and just on the edges. Very little over the heart of the plate.
As for the fan interference call, I can't figure out why the commentators are so sure that the call was wrong. It is fair to question it, but I don't see how they "know" the fans' hands were outside the field of play. I see at least four things in the slow motion replays that tell me the fans were reaching beyond the wall. First, Mookie's body was not in contact with the wall. Second, Mookies arm was not bending far back, it was mostly stretching up to reach the ball. Third, the fans' lower bodies were up against the wall. Fourth, their upper bodies were leaning forward, towards the field. Fifth, the fans were reaching out towards the field trying to get the ball. So how could fans up against the wall, leaning forward and reaching out be entirely outside the field of play? And how could a player who is not in contact with the wall and reaching almost straight up be in the fan area? Plus, watch the reaction of the fan that is two or three people to the right of the play. He sees what his fellow fans do and he reaches for his head with an "oh-no" expression on his face.

Thanks Bill. You very likely know I don't watch baseball - oh, I might if by some miracle the Tigers ever get to the World Series. At first glance looking at the first couple video's it looked to me like he could have caught it but did not. But then it looked like maybe he wasn't able to reach back far enough because of the fan. Clearly one of those 50/50 calls and I guess it went in Boston favor.
You probably wouldn't believe me, but I do not even know who they were playing, except I know it was not the Tigers.
