What isn't broken no longer works well.
Family genetics and health history of grandparents in particular is a good guide to establish your medical related priorities.

My advice is eat what you want, smoke what you want, drink what you want - all in moderation.

After you've been into this Vintage thing for a few years you'll realize you're still having fun but you don't want to linger much past the point it's not fun anymore.

Plus you'll be hedging your bet on whether Social Security will still be viable when you get there.

I'm in better physical shape at 49 than I was at 39. My back is degenerating but my muscles are stronger. I definitely peg the fun meter more often now.
