Symbolism counts for a lot in this case.

 

I rearranged the paintings in the apartment a bit. Put up one of Paris (with the Seine, a bridge and Notre Dame) that was in my parents' house for many years. Also have four other smaller prints that I'm going to find a place for. As a reminder of them and of my years there and visits.

There is another video making the rounds that portray the Syrian refugees in a terrible light. I have no idea if it is accurate and honest or just some stock footage of protests that the author claims is footage of refugees. Oddly, when you go to look for this video it is taken down, but then pops up again elsewhere.

Very little news coverage of Hollande's meeting with Obama this morning here. I'm guessing for security reasons.

 

Very true, they could have been discussing the weather for all I know.

 

But the subtitles are political and extremely racist. Others in Vintage have reported the post. The video was deleted after complaints.
