I was multi tasking! On hold and typing at the same time.
I was on hold with Select Comfort beds for 30 minutes on Sunday, before I finally hung up. I put it on speaker phone while I did my weights. I love speaker phones when I'm on hold.

I've been put on hold so long that I forgot who I'd called until I hear a mysterious voice saying hello. I've also discovered that I tend to only stay in touch with those people who have email addresses. Its such a pain to make a phone call when email is soooo much easier.

My pet peeve is people who answer the phone and don't listen. On EVERY call to a business, my first sentence is "Hello, this is Martha XXX and I would like to speak to YYY if he/she is available." This sentence is invariably followed by the phone answerer asking "Can I tell them who's calling?"l

this is slightly off the subject, but did your opthamologist ever discuss plugs with you? mine inserted plastic plugs in my tear ducts. the idea is that the fluid that you do have does not drain so quickly. its not a perfect solution, but it seems to help a bit and it is painless. regards, teebee
