Does anyone like this besides me?

Abbott Fuller Graves
American Impressionist Painter, 1859-1936

This one is called Grandmother's doorway. I saw it on line, ordered a print and bought a frame that I thought suited it.

My guest room is about to be painted yellow and something about doorway pics appeal to me. This pic in the old fashioned frame, in a room with antique furniture should look quite nice...............I hope.

Now, some younger folks think this kind of work is "old lady" and given the title of the print, maybe it is, but I liked it and that's what's supposed to matter right?

Not sure what else I can pick up for the room to go with it..... thankfully, not too much open wall space to be concerned about.

It was a cheap print..didn't realize how cheap..but with a nice mat and frame, looks pretty good.

It pulls your eye right to the door and ........ through it. Put your clothes on Grandma. Really, it's very nice. One of the few pictures where the focal point is almost dead center.

I like it, Lainey. I'm sure it's even better in real life.
