I have purchased canvas prints from iCanvas.com for a few years and just put up a new print I received from them, yesterday. Just thought I'd mention the online store here. They have 60% off sales every so often which is when I buy from them. This one was $80 with the 60% off.

My new floral print.

I ordered a 20" x 60" black framed canvas for another wall, yesterday. My mom had been here when she was living but I haven't. I want to walk into this image and run my hands on the rock walls.

Posted in photo thread, but if you don't go there, thought the local artists might enjoy. Fiberglass scallop shells 29 of them placed in Plymouth, MA, with the artwork done by local artists. They are really nice. Some of them also had pretty detailed artwork on the back as well. We found 19 of them today. I realized the same photo is in this collage twice...

A French woman kept a religious painting for years in her kitchen above a hot plate. It just sold for $26.6M. Turned out to be a rare 13th century work by Cimabue.

Given it's small size that really was an unbelievable amount of $.

I'm working on a stained glass project to give to my son and daughter-in-law on Christmas. I'm usually a big flake when I start one and it takes me up to 3 years to finish it. I think I'm on a roll this time, although I did originally start it a year ago. I redrew the master on Nov. 7th and have now finished cutting out all 73 pieces of glass, 9 days later. I still have a lot of work to do but I'm very happy with the design and colors and I really want to get it done. I expect to finish it and I can't wait to see my son's face when they open it.

^11-7-2019. My new master. The original one I drew last year had pieces drawn that weren't going to work. Some branches were too thin and some were too long. The glass would have broken or been so narrow that barely any glass would have shown after the pieces were soldered together.

^11-14-2019. It's hard to see but there are three types of patterns in the clear outside of the circle. They will look really neat when the piece is hanging.

^11-14-2019. All cut out except for the fun colors of the tree.

^11-15-2019. Playing with my colored glass, markers and pattern copies to get ideas of what to cut.

^11-15-2019. All done but I re-cut the two orange pieces, 44 and 45, because I wasn't sure I liked them this way.

^11-15-2019. Choice two, with pieces 44 and 45 colors switched. I think I like this one better than the one above.
