Nats holding at .500 going into the break. Not bad.

At least they didn't get swept although they took quite a spanking yesterday.

In retrospect......
The Phils have lost but a few series this season, and now it looks like the DL is going to give back a few of the "good" players after the break.
That said, ATL is still a team the the Phillies will have to deal with in the long run this season.

Nats did pretty well this season, finishing up on a winning streak. Just below .500 ball. As for the playoffs, the +1 was disappointed in the Yankees play against the Tigers. Never heard this expression he used - "A-Rod and Texeira couldn't hit a bull in the butt with a bass fiddle this series."

Playoffs have been pretty exciting. The +1 wants a Tigers/Brewers World Series. He may just get it after yesterday's games.

The Tigers games have all been nail bitters; Sat should be good as well.

I hope the Tigers make the Series and the Lions keep winning. Detroit needs a break.

Brewers blew that game last night. Let's hope they redeem themselves in the next game to move on.
