Best deals for older iPhone models??
#31
OK, hockey nuts.... we have a thread for hockey.... I just started it. So back on Topic. This is about helping poor Bill get a deal on a phone (remember it only took him about 5 years to learn how to post a picture), so anything you can do to help this young man get a cheap but state of the art phone is good; please help.

I'd check your local cell phone repair stores. They will have deals on old phones. Go no older than the 6S. I loved my 6S Plus (it's now my new iPod), but I run the iPhone X right now with IOS 12. Got it when it came out. First new phone ever.

What was I thinking?
Anyway, Apple has slightly discounted the older generation phones. So if anyone was actually following this thread looking for deals, try the Apple store. There may be other deals out there from the cellular companies, but as of last week, Verizon was not offering anything.
If you actually thought this thread was about buying other people's used phones, I'm sure the participants on this thread can give you great advice about e-bay, craigslist, Facebook, pawn shops, or in Dave's case, the bulletin board at the local grocery store.
