Default Bikinis and Things

A couple months ago I attended the Miami Swim Show. All the "fashion forward" bikinis were cut like the underwear your Mother wore in the late 40's and early 50's. The big (pun here) pushing point was spandex providing Muffin Top and Saggy Butt control.

A no navel bikini with legs and a 3 hook top.

Today, I saw the spandex control swim dress. This design is named Ruffles Hide Ridges.

I don't see any ridges. You can walk out of the sea and onto the dance floor. Never mind if your covered in salt water. You can itch later.

Better Living through spandex.

Just thought I'd share.

hahaha

I see it all TOF. Fashion is part of my business. The Miami Swim Wear show is an annual highlight.
Trust me, Muffin Top Control is as advanced as abs brakes. It's all in the engineering. It's also a commentary on the average weight of young people. That's the market the "fashion forward" designers pursue.

Here's another example of MTC.

And not one comment from our female members.

I believe that form follows function. Think about that one.

PS Vintage could use some cheesecake.

Busy at work, not much time for commentary. I will say that I don't have an issue with bathing suits and clothing that reveal less or control a bit of the bulge. Too many women (in my opinion) let more hang out than I care to see.

And sad, but true, the average weight of people is up there, especially with the younger folks, and that shows by the poor selection of the smaller size clothing that is in the stores.

Saw lots of skimpy suits on the beach last year in your hood flts. While folks are dressed in heavy clothes in this neck of the woods next winter I will again be paddleboarding the beautiful beaches of Naples admiring the scenery.

Went to the beach today. I'm wayyyy past worrying about a muffin top or anything else. I'm modest in my attire and always have been. +1 and I went over together and noticed a few really cute gals who looked great in their bikinis. We also noticed a few women who have great self esteem! I couldn't care less anymore about whether there is a jiggle or whatever. I'm just glad to still be mobile.
