Default A/C with the top down

This is not a question for those who live in states that have not been affected by global warming.

For the rest of us (it is currently 105 in Sacramento), I have taken to using the A/C sans top. It is a bit like sitting out in the sun with one of those twisted garden hose attachments that throw a fine mist of water your way, but less wet. Just as cool though.

Anyone else 'fess up to keeping cool with technology with the top down?

I guess I didn't want to admit it but since you brought it up - I did it today.
It was hot out and there was no breeze sitting at that stop light.
Sometimes on those days over 95 degrees I think the top would be better up.
I know that defeats the purpose of purchasing a convertible but ....
I don't want to roast while I'm driving either.
I hate to get to my destination and be all sweaty.

Even here on those rare hot and humid days if I happen to be in stop/go traffic the a/c has been known to be used for short periods of time.

I do it all the time and think nothing of it. I'm cool and loving having the top down. IMHO, the top is only there for use in the event it rains really hard and the a/c is there to keep me cool.

Summer version... A/C with top down and windows up
Winter version... Heat with top down and windows up

Still have the benifit of the open air but beats the heck out of roastin' (or freezin').

We don't want to put that top up, so if it get's too hot, the AC goes on!
