Car insurance for the S2000
This thread was started last Feb 2010, so I'm not sure if this was ever linked over here in Vintage.

Alot of the FL S2000 owners are saving quite a bit per year, hopefully some of you can as well.

I called Hagerty awhile back and they quoted me almost half the price of what I'm paying now but there are limitations you really have to ask a lot of questions. I believe the thing that really turned me off was that if my car got damaged at say the grocery store it may not be covered because that is considered regular use she didn't say it definately wouldn't be covered but there is the possibility I just wouldn't want to take a chance. I would be a good risk for them as I don't use my S as a daily its off the road in the winter and spends every night in a heated alarmed garage but I would need a guarantee that they would cover any damage body parts for our cars aren't cheap.
This link answers some or most of the questions regarding "collector car" insurance and whether it's right for your particular situation.
