Just so you know, I eat fish rather than studying them.

Suxs that you can't get Fios. I can't get it either, even though the people 6 houses down from me can. They have the best commercials, so their service must be superior.

I think I've been flamed. Are you calling me an ichthyologist? Have you no sense of common decency, sir?

Guess you didn't notice that "www" button at the bottom of all my posts? I don't use mikegarrison.com for virtual web hosting, but I could someday.

Can't help you on this one, Martha. I have my email (AOL) separate from my ISP, which works for me. I use Outlook at work. I also have Comcast, but only for TV. I'm not a fan of putting all my phone, TV, computer eggs in one basket (I like competition), so I've resisted doing that. You also have a more complicated setup than I do. The +1 has a desktop (new one that I'm using right now and it is FAST!!
), and I have an old Sony Vaio laptop which is still plugging along.
I do something simple and probably old-fashioned by the standards of 'Teh Intrawebzz' My fist ISP was AOL and it was free, (My stepfather was employee #43 or something) so it still has my longest standing email addresses.
I think they (AOL) just raised their prices for this service, but since I use the evil Comcast as my ISP I have dial-up time via the old AOL /internal 56K modem as a backup to cable (the prices vary by how much prepaid landline time you want, or I think you can get none at all and pay by the hour) , so both the cable and phone lines have to go down to cut me completely off from the internet. As a secondary backup, (I'm like a belt and suspenders and another belt guy) the ATT wireless network has to also go offline since I have a windows mobile phone which also gives me access to email and the internet (though it is not as cool as Jillian's iPhone).

I've put a bailbond outfit on speed dial for Martha and hidden all the guns in the house.

I guess I should count myself lucky that you didn't call me a son of botanist.
