Yes, it seems to be worse today than it has been in a while. I'm switching to my work email accounts.
I've put a bailbond outfit on speed dial for Martha and hidden all the guns in the house.

I have a high speed comcast connection for my computer and have no choice for cable except the same. However, I totally stopped accessing my email from the comcast account and use aol since in times of emergency, I can plug my laptop into the phone line and access aol. I just use a free aol account. I know that true geeks think aol is evil, but I have to say it has been FAR more reliable than comcast for the purposes of accessing email. In SC we have Timewarner cable and I like it much better. I do not have an internet connection in SC except for whatever random wifi signal I can snag off someone. When I'm totally desperate for the internet (you ALL know how that can be ), I run down to a coffee shop with free wifi.

I posted to comcast.net email support forum which is a comcast customer internal web page

[QUOTE]This is a national issue. If not national at least east coast. I have numerous acquaintances up and down east coast that are all slamming into the wall today. many of these are professionals who are going absolutely ballistic and this is costing them money. first and second line support appear to be clueless and overwhelmed. If every different mail app you can name is having issues you have to look at the server.

Sorry to hear so many are having Comcast problems for so long a time. I have Comcast tv, internet, and phone. For email I have Outlook, Outlook Express, and G-Mail. I've had none of the problems mentioned. My experience up to now with Comcast when I've had a problem has been positive for most part. Over the past few weeks I've had to reset my phone modem a few times but with all their expansion in our area I have not bothered to call them to complain.
