Clever LB, but if my ego were at stake, I'd be driving a cute little S2K and NOT a sub $20k imitation soccer-mom-mobile. Get serious.

My pet peeve is that PCs are non intuitive (at least for me). why do I have to learn a whole new language and way of thinking to get the most out of my computer?
Why do I have to learn how to cook if I want to make good food?

Martha, I agree. To say that some private vehicles should only have to meet a CAFE of 21 mpg because they are legally trucks (and a Suburu Outback is legally a truck) but others must average 27mpg because they're cars is BS. There should be one CAFE standard for all private vehicles.

WHERE can one haul things in an SUV that one can't get to in a minivan? That's the more appropriate question, at least for those of us in the West.

That's a pretty bizarre funeral custom even in parts of northeast Alabama. I hope it's only observed in winter.

And in case you missed it, I repeat, if it was my ego that was in question, I'd be driving a cute little S2K and NOT an imitation soccer-mom-mobile.

I'm curious why my thread asking for computer help has become a forum for questioning my ego and my need to drive a small SUV?

Pretty much typical Vintage meandering. If we think we've answered your question we move on to another topic. It's up to you to bring us back on point if you think it's necessary.

Not that any of us are ADHD or anything.
