And in case you missed it, I repeat, if it was my ego that was in question, I'd be driving a cute little S2K and NOT an imitation soccer-mom-mobile.
Be that as it may, I still agree with Bill.

Then i'm curious as to the reasoning behind thinking someone driving an SUV would have a bigger ego than someone driving a sports car?

We weren't talking about sports cars, we were talking about SUVs. Nice try though.

There isn't any reasoning behind it. It's simply another one of those mindless stereotypes, like men who drive sports cars have small penises or are suffering from midlife crises. Which stereotype one subscribes to depends on what vehicle one drives.

Now I crush models of SUVs and swear at my computer.
So how's that working out for Mrs. Legal Bill?

What can one haul in an SUV that one can't haul in a mini-van?
Me!
(and of course, my ego, according to LB).
I don't do mini-vans!

This is coming awfully close to being a personal attack, don't you think?

My opinion, as expressed in my signature, is my opinion. You are free to take it or leave it. It is not, nor should it be construed as anything other than my opinion. Unless of course you need to misconstrue and misrepresent it to make your point.

Martha, Martha, Martha.

You don't need help (for being a serial computer killer), you deserve a medal. Clearly, we need more people like you. HPH

My first home computer was a Mac and I loved it. I still think Macs are great, however, I've had my present pc for about 4 or 5 years now and other than replacing the monitor, so far it has kept up with current technology enough to meet my needs. When the day comes that it needs replacement, I'm realllllly hoping to replace it with a mac. As far as the ugly comments by Mr. Stack relative to his opinions of other folks' opinions, I'm realllly glad I don't have to do whatever HE thinks I should do. As far as suvs are concerned, we have two small suvs. Two years ago I did not have my own suv. It snowed, it iced over and no snow plows came down my street for an entire week. I was unable to leave home for any reason for several days since +1 had to drive his suv to get to work everyday. I decided that I'd have to bite the bullet and get an all wheel drive vehicle. About the same time all this occurred, I took in an orphan bulldog who loves to be walked. He is not an animal I feel comfortable hauling around in the S car. The suv hauls the bulldog, lumber, firewood, lawnmowers, groceries and other things that the S is not particularly suited for. Last year the suv was driven for under 3,000 miles and the S was driven about 10,000 miles. I love my suv and it will not be crushed. When it needs replacement, I'll replace it with another small suv.
Oh, and as far as cooking is concerned. I love cooking and I love gourmet cooking. I went to cooking school and loved it. Cooking is really quite simple and is much easier to do than loading some software. I agree with LB.
