Roy Orbison was amazing. Not only was his voice spectacular, but his arrangements were very unorthodox and inovative. Listen to "In Dreams" a few times. There was nothing like it then, and nothing like it for years later.
I purchased and downloaded the kd Lang-Roy Orbison duet version of "Crying" from iTunes. As Ed says, it is excellent. If you listen closely, it is hard to tell when Roy is singing and kd is singing. They both have tenor voices in the recording.
