Deb,
I know you've said its a softer ride, does the steering still feel as precise?

I've not driven an '06, but the '04 I drove was significantly different than my '00. I immediately noticed the slower steering (just slower, not necessarily worse) and the slightly softer ride. I also didn't like the way the clutch engaged, but at the track I definitely liked the way the car handled. Seemed to be a little less "edgy" and more controlled.

Deb - how many miles you got now? Are you taking the long way?

Sorry about the blatant pandering in your thread but War is War!

and totally agree. I'm really surprised at how smooth it rides as opposed to my '01 and also feel I'm sitting in a luxury car instead of a sports car. The clutch feels wonderful and is a big improvement over the old one. +1 drove it for about 50 miles or so today and was very surprised at the clutch feel as well. I like the new sound system, its far superior to the old one and so far I'm just thrilled with the car. There are just so many little things that I'm overwhelmed with it all.
