Discussion on Television Programs
Tried pulling it up tonight. That name never would register on my search on Prime. We watched Puncture which was a good movie. Not a feel good movie but another eye opener, as if we need it about how corporate America doesn't give a shit about human life. It was based on a real life story. Oh, I also should add the lead actor who plays a lawyer/drug addict does an unbelievable part in the movie.
I've watched a few episodes of The Last Detective on Britbox. It is a little slow, but I'm enjoying it. Wish I could find some tv show that I've never seen that aired for at least 10 years or so I'm not constantly looking for something interesting.
I really like this light-hearted British mystery on PBS: Father Brown
I haven't seen Pennyworth, Ms.P. I see that's on Epix and I don't think that's in my lineup.
I started binge watching City on a Hill on Prime. It stars Kevin Bacon. First season with 10 episodes. Beware, it is only available on Prime till 1/11/21.
Set in the ‘90s in Boston’s Irish hood in hits all the buttons for a Showtime channel drama – violence, murder, swearing, sex, robbery, racism, police corruption, religion issues, and criminal justice system issues. Hope I didn’t miss anything.
