Me too. I have an endoscopy every 3 years and summer this year is it. Will be my third.

Good point on the heartburn at night.

Personally, I didn't experience that but it's another thing not to be ignored by all the Supermen(and women) out there

( BTW, I haven't had HB since stent installation)

Hey Gerry, you stole my script.
The "just happened to be at the doctors" line.
Did you doctor get kinda white while you were explaining your symptoms and immediately tell you to lie down and call the nurse in with the EKG cart?

So did they do wrist or hip for angiogram?

She said don't exert yourself too much until you get a stress test.

Test was 2 days later.

They went thru my wrist.

I have had the heartburn issues for years. Take Omeprozole and that controls it, but it sucks to have to take something every day for it. I can go a little while without taking it, but after a week or two I start having issues again. So I have tried doing the every other day thing and that seems to control it ok. Seems to run in my family. Mine did not come on suddenly, but rather more gradual over a few years, then for the past 10 or so years has been more regular without medication

Went to the Doctor monday for my annual physical and she suggested a Cardio Stress test.

I showed up thinking I was going to burn up the treadmill, after three minutes they stopped the test..

Anyway, it's Friday and I've got three stents and one of those pill boxes with all the little doors.

Hell of a way treat heartburn
A friend, at work, said he didn't have any heartburn --- but he'd noticed he sweated profusely --- just before his first and only heart attack. Much longer than after any exercise before (like casually riding a bike around the neighborhood). His wife called 911, when his breathing got a little labored and he had tightness in his neck. He never any had any pain or tightness in his chest or arms. The ER ran & read a quick EKG, then immediately shipped him off to OR for bypass surgery. Three main cardiac vessels were blocked near or over 90%. So, symptoms are often times not that clear cut.

Prior to my craniotomy in February I had a cardio work up with an ekg followed by a stress test. The docs said I was fine, but I noticed some irregular needle movements on the screen. Both the cardio doc and my GP said, “yes, your heart skipped a few beats there at the highest elevations, nothing to worry about.” So why am I worried?

"So why am I worried." Comes with your profession.

Yeah, what kind of thinker are you...glass half full or half empty? I think more positive people tend to be healthier. Just my opinion of course.
