Took me.....oh, about a week or 600 miles

I picked my car up on a Tuesday night after work, on Thursday morning when parking at work I had almost 800 miles on my car. I did my 600 miles of break in in less than 24 hours.

I'm loving my new sig pic

Riding Motorcycles for 27 years and I continue to do so has taught me how to drive defensively while driving the S.

My mileage was a bit higher, but I do remember my 1st S2000 autox at Valio, in a downpour, Tom K was my instructor, and I still had the temp registration sticker on the window.

As I pointed out in my "Defensive Driving" talk at SF05 the best advice that I can give anyone comes from my Motor cycle days teaching safety courses. If one drives or rides with the assumption that one is invisible it is the best advice that I can give anyone.
I still stand by my previous comments that the BEST way to learn the "LIMITS" of one's S2000 is by doing a track day.
At FCT04, I came away with a whole new appreciation of what this car is capable of.
I also have to state that as an instructor I was able to take my +1 for four hot laps. Before she wanted "out". I have to state that it changed her as a +1. She is much more comfortable with both the car's capabilities (and perhaps mine). She is MUCH MORE comfortable in the car now on our drives.
P.S. I also had the opportunity to take GrannyRod for a few laps around Beaverun. I think that she was IMPRESSED with our little car's capabilities as well.

I felt confident right away. Maybe too confident, but I haven't gotten into any trouble yet. I reelly love driving this car in moderate traffic. It's so easy to accelerate away from or maneuver through drivers I think are questionable. I probably go over 95 almost every day on the way to work, but only for a few seconds to get away from other vehicles. I love that. Staying alert and cautious seems the normal way to drive this thing.

Well I'm glad to hear so many different views. I have to admit the parking lot is a trip for me. There are a lot of SUV's in Sac and there is one Raley's parking that lot I won't go into. If you're not 17 feet in the air you will get hit. People back out, don't look while they're backing out much less going forward. I stay away from it. I think I may have to have a track day though.
cruise with attitude but assume you are invisible.
