The ridgeline is a just a unibody SUV with an identity crisis.
I have no trouble identifying it. It is that big black thing next to the little yellow thing out in the garage!

I would call the Mach-E a crossover.

Ohio just had me pre-pay $500 in gas taxes for the next five years because our Highlander is a hybrid. Total registration was $831.37. I suppose I should be flattered they trust me to stay on the road that long, but I'd much rather have paid that $500 in small less painful instalments at the pump.

That really sucks in a few ways, who knows where they may be in 5 years time, I almost always change vehicles at the 3 year mark, never own them to get near 5 years. Hopefully there is a mechanism to get a refund if you or the vehicle doesn't make it to 5 years, lol. A yearly installment makes more sense. Canadians have not figured out how much is being lost in gas taxes yet, they may catch on soon though, no road tax for EV's yet.

Incredible car to drive etc. Then I got into the back seat. Bummer
They had to put the battery somewhere but it raised the seats.
I had no head room.
after 2 yrs or so, they added the EQS SUV. Since it is taller, they have eliminated the headroom issue.
It doesn't feel like an SUV, it is much more sedan like.
They're coming in off lease now. the 580 is upper 50's into low 60's.
an example ( a really sweet example)
Merc has https://www.mbusa.com/en/cpo/inventory which has most US MB dealers pre-owned inventory.
Well that didn't last long. I was talking with them today and it sold while I was on the phone.

I thought they charged you on a yearly basis.

My bad, you are correct that yearly registration is an option. I just chose the five-year maximum, so I don't have to deal with it again for a while.

Yeah, we pay $100 extra per year for our hybrid Camry.

Just before Ohio started that extra for hybrids and EV, we paid for 5 years so as to avoid that extra charge for those years.

In general, though, we just pay one year at a time.

I couldn't do a five year renewal as with the exception of the S I never keep a car that long.
